For your audition, you will need to:
• Individually sing one chorus from a song of your choice (no backing music)
• Individually sing a section of one song from Beauty and the Beast (these songs have been taught for the past 4 weeks during choir sessions)
• One of the two songs needs to have choreography. This can be simple and we are looking at students to ability to move in time with the music and be animated. It doesn’t have to be a dance.
• In pairs, you will read a section of script from your character's role. Scripts are available below - please copy out (most characters only have a few lines)
Remember to put your audition form in the box outside the PAC before Friday 12 March so we know who is interested!!!!

Hi Mrs Breeds,
We were just wondering what script we use for the production audition
because the parts that we want are not in the same script. so what one should we use???
From Georgia and Suzannah Room 7
Hi Girls,
Use any script that you like the look of really! Probably not the narrator one unless you want this part, but any of the other 3 will show us how you can act.

Hi Mrs Breeds.
Was just checking are there going to be dancers? If so do we need to fill out a audition sheet. I cant wait till the production it's going to be wonderful!
From Holley in room 12. :)
Hi Holley,
Yes - we are looking for dancers. We would like you to audition (and so fill in a sheet) as some of the dancers will be acting or even singing 1-2 lines so we need to know who can do that. There is a question on the audition form that asks if you are specifically auditioning for the role of a dancer, so you can say YES to this as well.
Mrs Breeds.
